To keep them clean you can use fuel injector snake oil treatment, I like the FP and LP stuff.

There's a crap ton of DIY's on youtube. Basically it involves flushing some cleaning fluid through the injector by removing them from the car and using a battery to activate them while rigging some way to force fluid under pressure.
As much as I love DIY, I'd rather find a local shop that does the "ultrasonic" (sounds like snakeoil too right!) cleaning, and will replace all the rubber seals, and hopefully run a test and give you a printout of the spray pattern... Ran me about $75-100 for 4 injectors.

can I try to move the injector to another cyl to see if it gets the other spark plug dirty before I have them it cleaned? What I am saying is are the injectors specific to each cylinder

I used this guy once. Seemed good and not that expensive. He is local in WA so I went to his house and saw his garage/equipment and chatted with him a bit.

Xeon, a lot of your questions can be answered by a quick Google search:
https://encrypted.google.com/search?...jector+cleaner

And most of your questions can be answered by a Google search of s2ki.net:
https://encrypted.google.com/search?...om+search+here

That leads me to a reputable injector cleaning shop in Torrance, your neck of the woods:
