1 Year old '02 S2000 with 11,000 miles:

Recently developed an intermittent beep, beep in the radio area. Sometimes 1, sometimes 2-3 or more beeps. Can't reproduce on command and can't find any patern. Happens rarely but very, very annoying in an otherwise great car.

Phone call to dealer service dept. produced an "I have no idea" response.

Could this be a loose wire or a warning of some kind?

Sounds like your car lost power at some point (changed or drained battery?) and you entered in your radio code wrong a few times. Obviously, if your radio is working normally this wouldn't be the case, but then I would guess it is an issue with the connection to the radio.

 

Did you buy this car used or new? I have a shift beeper that I installed and I get an intermittent beep or two no where near the set point. very intermittent now and then?
