dead speedo anyone?

Default dead speedo anyone?

hey guys anyone had experience of the speedo/tripo all crap out on you at once? My speedo stopped working today so I don't know wtf is going on.

check engine light came on too but the car drives just the same....

lemme know what are your experiences...

i had my hole cluster go out last year. My car also was running fine, if your still under warranty dealer should fix it with out any questions.....

yeah dealer ran the scanner and told me the speed sensor is dead....at first

then they went under there and wiggled it a bit and it worked again, and then check engine light also went off...


weeeeird I thought only Germans have bad electronics... I guess it's not bad if it's not officially broken.

That area is exposed to road grime and moisture. Upon inspection, you'll see that the wire insulation and outer wrapping is not very good. It might be wise to use some electrical tape to better seal it up.

That code would be transmission speed sensor

Sounds like a soft set coupler to the speed sensor on the transmission....Dealer just unhooked the coupler, wiggled the sensor then properly set the coupler....code goes away

mine reads but it reads way too high, and it only started happening after i replaced the clutch...anyone else have this?

Are you sure somebody didn't sneak in a set of "gears" while they were doing the clutch?
