Default Diagnosing air pump low voltage

MY01 threw a Cel for air pump low voltage the other day. How can I go about figuring what is causing it? Basically don't want to replace the air pump unless absolutely necessary

What code was it? Was it the PO411 or PO410? PO411 is either mis routed vacuum lines or check valve pointing the wrong direction or possibly a torn vacuum hose. PO410 deals directly with the pump. If you have a PO410 you may have to pull the pump and inspect it. There have been instances of the pump burning up and melting a big hole in the side of it. Can you hear the pump on cold starts?

It's the whistle noise you hear when you first start the car. The pump is located behind the front bumper under the driver's side headlight. Start the car and put your ear down by that headlight you should hear the pump run for a minute or so then "kick off". If you don't hear it there's your issue
