Default Did compression test, but forgot one thing!

I did it correctly with the exception of one thing. I forgot to go WOT. Should I redo it? With no throttle, the numbers were 149-151. I just put in new plugs to so I would rather keep them in place since they have crush washers, I believe.

With no throttle I did 230 across the board. 150 sounds pretty low?

your looking for variation between the numbers, as long as they were all done with the throttle closed I would do it again, and that way you can kinda compare better to what others are geting (even though every gauge can read differently)

Its completely fine to unthread the plugs and re-install them. I would do the test again.

Did it with fully warm, WOT for about 8 seconds each cylinder and still got about 150 (+/- 1 psi) across the board. The compression tester is brand new, but I'm going to see if Advance or Auto Zone has one I can borrow to see if the it's the tester. I just bought the car, so it makes me nervous. Seems to drive just fine with the 6,100 rpm VTEC kicking in.

I'm going to cancel my aftermarket warranty (refundable upto 60 days) if the compression, UOA on the diff and tranny fluid are all good.

That's pretty impossible.

I figured out the issue. The straight extender part that came with it must be bad. So, I used just the long hose and gauge and they are were at 238-241. That's a relief!
