Never really launch my car. It’s supercharged with 360whp. I rolled onto the power in 3rd gear and felt like my rear exploded. Scared the shit outta me. Had to get towed home. The car does not move at all putting it into any gear just makes a terrible noise. Here’s a pic of the axles.. looks like they are sticking outta the diff a bit...
Hard to see the pics well from where I am viewing, but are the CV boots twisted up? Just a simple shake test with your hand will not tell, as when my CV went, it felt fine, but was actually broken.
Put it on stands, put it in gear and left out the clutch. If the wheels spin, start applying the brake. If it starts grinding, it may be the CV itself. Easy fix.
If the axles are pulling out of the diff though, it doesnt look as good.
