Diff or Axel blown?

same problem as the op,so im pretty sure the trans is still in one piece .im going to order a axle and let you know after i replace it.

you can order a inner CV kit right from honda. comes with new bucket, spider (part thats broken), rollers, boot, and grease.

Ballade Sports has a heavy duty cv joint assembly that will address and fix your issue. The cv joint assembly they sell at Ballade Sports is an updated and improved product over the standard Honda OEM unit. The housing is a ONE piece design with a modified bearing track for reduced friction. The STD factory unit is originally a 2 piece design with an inertial weld. The internals of this product use the same style tripod roller bearing assembly as STD Honda, but features high performance needle bearings within each roller, unlike the STD Honda bearing. This unit is proven to last longer and reduce friction rotation than the OEM unit. The housing is larger in overall diameter increasing strength and uses HTS2 high temperature axle grease. Basically, the kit is equipped with everything needed to install. I highly recommend you look into this product if you are considering replacing your cv joint soon. The standard Honda unit is simply not as reliable as this assembly.

wow this is very helpful!!!!!!!! i just bought a ap1 today but it doesnt roll when i put it in gear and it makes the same sound that the op posted in the video...it almost sound like the splines are grinding..am hopeing its a twisted boot will check tomarrow..thanks for useful info billman 250
