Default diff maybe?

I have a pooping sound every once and a while but just when I take off. Going forward or in reverse. doesn't happen in turns or performance conditions.

Axle nut needs to be re-torqued to new spec of 220lbf/ft.

IMO "our" diff isn't weak.
Failure due to abuse (launches performed the wrong way), lack of oil changes, the wrong type of oil, have nothing to do with the diff itself.

I guess it would depend on the dealership. I printed it out and took it in with a 02 ap1 (this was in 06).. i had Coilovers, rims, exhaust, intake etc.. and they did it for free.
