Slow, do you happen to know what the SAE rating is for our Honda MTF? The original poster is in New Zealand (?). Our manual does say that a GL-4 is acceptable. I'm wondering if an SAE 75W80 API GL-4 gear oil would be about the same viscosity as a 10W30 crankcase oil?

I'd have a look though the Aus' owners manual to verify the marketing name of Honda's trans fluid.
