I had to go tthe 23mm box end wrench route too and ended up having to buy one just for this purpose. I couldn't get any other tool in that area for the life of me. I do like that the wrench is big enough to get some good torque on the bolt though, so easy off and on with the wrench. I bought a 22mm wrench to get the primary sensor off, you think Honda could have done us a favour and used the 22mm for the diff rather than an odd 23mm.

feel sorry for the person who has a fill bolt that's clocked such that they can't get an adjustable in there..... after they already drained the diff >.<

that's why you always make sure to loosen/remove your fill plug BEFORE you touch the drain plug.

'cause you just never know

I put my car on 4 jack stands and went under the car to try to change the differential fluid and realized i didn't have the right tool to take off the fill bolt. Luckily i didn't drain the fluid without checking cause i was about to drain the oil. All that work for no reason. Now i have to do it again maybe sometimes next week after i buy the wrench.

I got a bottle of Mobil 1 75w 90 LS gear oil for the diff. Does the LS make a difference? I have searched all the forums and know I don't need a additive for the Limited Slip and the Mobil website says it will work with any diff. Auto Zone only had that kind on the shelf. It's GL-5 obviously. Just checking......................thxs

Actually, just read it says its compatable with both open and LS diffs.........
