I use Red Line in my trans but I mix it 50/50 MT-85 and MT-90. I e-mailed Redline and that say you can mix any of the MTL, MT-85 and MT-90 in any amount to get the best wt. for what you do. MT-90 was just to heavy for my driving but since I had some left I used it with MT-85 and found it's just right in my S. I do as all should take it easy for the first 5 to 6 miles to let it thin out a little.

Hi,
The Mobil 1 you talk about,.is it the 75w90 LS?
I am from South Africa and cant seem to find Mobil anywhere. Would Shell spirax s2 ALS 90 be fine in the stock s2000 Differential?
thanks.

Anybody have a replacement part number (Ex. Dorman) for the drain plug gasket, or maybe know the size?
Want to go to Advance or other and buy it. Don’t want to order online or at dealer and have to wait a week to have the car back on the road.

Just for information:
Until 2005, the SAE -90 grade compassed the Viscoitiy range from 13,5 to 24.
SAE changes this in 2005 and splitt the SAE 90 into half, creating the new SAE 90 and SAE 110.
The Honda spec of SAE 90 for the S2000 from 1999 was never revised, so i think it´s safe to say that you can use SAE 90 and SAE 110.
