Differential Problem

Default Differential Problem

My car was Vortech super charged a few months ago,

and I'm starting to hear click noise from the rear end.

I'm guessing somewhere in the rear end is broken.


How can i solve this problem? i think a oem diff will cause the same problem after a while.

Who sells reinforced differentials??

It may not be your diff at all, sounds like axle nuts or a wheel bearing. Have the car looked at first before spending money on something you don't need

If you do end up needing to replace the rear diff, you do have a few choices

Hey i have the same thing, when im takin off in forst and when i shift down, any idea what it is?

Please read the above advice or do a search on axle nut/wheel bearing symptoms.

if you don't feel a difference and it's just a sound, it's most likely the common axle nut pop.

if its a constant clicking than its the same problem i have and im pretty sure its the CV joints. i plan on relplacing the axles and wheel bearings while im at it pretty soon

Does it make a single click when starting out in first gear? I have a single click noise which I believe is the axle nut needing to be re torqued.

it's axle nut and bucket issue. not diff. if it was diff, car would've not move.
