Use search. There couple threads about it.

If it flickers only on idle, usually it is an alternator's rectifier.
My dash is flickering almost since I own my car (2yrs+), I tested alternator and it's fine. 2 years already and it's Ok, but dash flickers

If its really bothering you, replace the alternator or just rectifier in it.

Actually the question regarding this.
I drive my car for a long time with flickering dash on idle.
Just a thought, do I lose power with alternator like mine?

I know that it is rectifier. I'm asking - does my car lose any power due to bad rectifier?
