I am thinking about buying 04+ Headlight lense. If I have these lenses shown below and my current AP1 headlights will it work? I am worried about the glass that sits in front of the bulb, will my AP1 glass work?

Thank you so much for this write up! and thanks for keeping it alive (dead links, pics) Anyway I'm just about finished. Retro fitted the Ballast on the new 04' headlamps. Shaved the support beam. I'll post pics once I get the new bumper.

I think that's about it.. I may have forgotten something so if you need any help or have any questions just shoot me a PM. Xviper, feel free to add this to the DIY section in UTH forum.

Josh

PS - please only take this as a guide. To be extra safe, you should probably go ahead and purchase the 04 splash shield retro kit and shave down the support beam. But hey, I

Man, it make a huge difference, i want to do this, but i wanna keep the stock headlights (i like the amber) was it too difficult? Do you need anything beside the bumper (if you just wanna change the bumper and not the lights?) Looks real clean!
It's actually really easy if all you want to do is the 04 bumper. You don't have to try to shave the headlight housing (which takes a few hours). All you need to worry about is shaving down the front beam so that you don't get the spider cracks in the 04+ bumper.

Do it!!! It looks hot as hell with the 04 bumper

Not much.. rounding the edges would probably be enough. They just barely make contact with the 04+ bumpers.
