I've never been able to salvage an o2 sensor once its gone bad. Someone else may have a trick to getting more life out of them, but i haven't figured it out.

By they way, I used Seafoam in the gas and some in via the intake vacuum hose and the check engine light went off in about 3 days after. Maybe I just got lucky, but this could be an option for some of you with the same problem.
