I have the Spoon test pipe installed with the O2 sensor plugged in but because I don't have that thing that tricks the sensor, i have a CEL.

Will a VFAC or VFAC2 compensate it somehow so the light goes away or do i still need the thing that tricks the O2 sensor?

It's kinda a technical question so I figured somebody here must be able to answer it!

no...you will need some kind of electronic/mechanical O2 simulator to eliminate the CEL. Removing the backup fuse is another option.

 

A vafc is for altering the a/f and vtec point. It not have any affect on the CEL. You should put in a mechanical O2 simulator:

Pulling the BACK UP fuse will make your car idle and run really weird.

 

Did this on my SRT4(just a 2" pipe w/bung welded out there), worked great! Then I got Stage 1 which basically eliminates the 2nd 02's function
