DIY Oil Pressure/Temperature Gauge Install

One thing to note using a oil filter block adaptor, I believe that it's taking the pressure upstream of the oil filter. So if that's true there should be a pressure drop across the filter, but by how much I'm not sure. Using a t-adaptor off the factory pressure port reads the actually pressure being fed to the bearings.
From what I understand b y reading the OP's initial DIY, he used a block adaptor for the temp, and a T-adaptor for the pressure. I didnt catch that before, and surely could explain different readings.
However, in that case I (with the block adaptor for press) am reading higher than he is with his T-adaptor?

Thanks, Ocho!
I forgot to mention the estimated time for the install is around 2 to 3 hours if you're organized and careful. That time, however, does not include the miscellaneous stuff like trimming out the defogger vent and painting the gauge's menu button and hardware.

Yes, your readings with a block adaptor should be a little bit higher than my readings from the t-adaptor. I've heard that pressure drop could be around 7-10psi at operating temperature using the OEM S2000 oil filter (but I could be mistaken).
As far as fluctuations in the oil pressure, I'm not sure which route would have larger variances. Maybe someone can chime in with that information...

I have two separate gauges from prosport that are oil pressure and temp. I am using this as a guide and I am a newbie in wiring. Can some one show me a picture of where the "parking lamp" wire would be in the car? The gauge is lit up white in the day via accessory power then turns into blue after I turn on my head lights.. So I basically connect the wires for both my gauges in the same places sense they both do the same color change...
