There's a little play in the belt tensioner pulley. The bigger pulley beneath it (water pump?) is solid, but has an audible squeak when the engine was warm. I tried it again this morning (cold) and it was silent.

The tensioner pulley and the idler pulley will both have some play in them as they have bearings, I would say that is not excessive.

The squeak is from the pump as the pulley doesn't have a bearing, not sure what to say about that, if it isn't leaking from the weeper and it turns smoothly it might be fine for a while. Is it noisy when the engine is running ?

No sound when the engine is running. I also spun it again with the engine cold and it didn't make a squeak.

if it doesn't leak and it isn't noisy I'd leave it for now, it will surely let you know when it needs replacing IMO.
