Not my car but I found this video on youtube. Does anyone know what sound that might be? I think I have the same sound but mine is alot more quiet. Can't really hear it unless you go really close up to the motor. Will it be a potential problem soon?

Yeah, mine has a very faint tap sound that only happens if I'm about to hit VTEC in a tunnel just after a rainstorm with 4 or 5 cars max in said tunnel, with the top up and one window down. Dont worry man

 

I hear a tap that sounds like normal cold piston slap.

 

Is it suppose to go away when car is warmed up? The sound is always there.

See if it goes away when you push the clutch in. Mine sounds like that until I push the clutch in. It has been like that since I bought it in 2009.

 

hmmmm Jimmy came over to my house the other day (VPS_AP1) and I heard the same noise. I felt the knocking through drive belt tensioner though
