pop it off and take a little steel wool or sand paper to the contact patches. should be good as new after

pop off the actual dome light? i mean the light works if u hit the button to turn it on just not when the door is ajar?....

Click here for a DIY fix

I would suggest a light coating of dielectric grease on the contacts as well. I didn't use any and mine has just started to act up again.

this is what you want. did this fix on my car a while back, works perfectly now
