Thumbs up Dome light switch not working. Lights work

My dome light switch to change off, always on, or on when doors are open is not working.
When I push the buttons in for each light they work so obviously not the bulbs but the switch is not working. Is that something that can be easily fixed or would I just need to order a new dome let fixture thing?
Started going out a few months ago but would still work if I wiggled the switch around a little but now completely stopped working all together.

You might want to use that contact cleaner thing on there, it might be just some carbon buildup inside. I have some if you want to drop by. We can do it at my place.

Take it apart and see if you can fix it. If you can see the contacts maybe they just need cleaning. If not then you will have to get a new one. They sell for about $70 new online. See link below. The other option would be from a used parts dealer(junk yard).

Yeah that's exactly how mine was until now it just completely stopped working when sliding that switch. Lights go on only when pushing the light buttons in.

There are two small clips at the front of the light to pop off, then the light fixture comes down.

I agree. Seems like more and more people are having this issue. mine just wiped off in 1 second and has worked great since then.
