Done
Congrats Chris. Glad to hear the project is done.
As for your numbers, they might even be conservative. I've dyno'd several 2.0 liter Civic turbos, and at 15-16 psi they produce 420-430 whp at 8000 rpm or so. Given that you've got more rev capacity, a bigger turbo and a better head, you might even see 450 whp. Although, to be fair, they were on race gas, so they might have been able to run more timing.
Either way, you've probably got enough power to run well into the 11's if you can hook it up. Of course, the strip officials would kick you out in a microsecond without a proper roll cage.
Frankly, I don't think you're at as much drivetrain risk as you think you might be. When I drove Team Hybrid's Speedcraft car it was surprisingly easy to launch without beating up the car. A little clutch slip from 5000 rpm and away we go. It certainly feels more abusive when I launch my near stock NA car.
I'd say go for it. Take it to the strip, work out a reasonable (read non-abusive, even if its a little slower) launch technique and make a couple of half track passes. Then rip off one full track pass, get kicked out and call it quits. Then you'll never have to guess what the car can do.
Again, congrats.

Thanks for the kind words guys!
Regarding the throttle body, I have doubts that it does that much. But I have it there anyways. My boss says "don't step over dollars to pick up pennies", I guess that's my mentality when I am listing the engine mods, and turbo.
The rear end is stock right now, but I have a Kaaz differential in the trunk. I want to get better axles before I change the diff. At that point the only weak link will be the tranny, which there aren't many options for right now, besides mounting a Geforce drag tranny in it!!!!
I'm back in Florida now, the car made it with out any problems... still need to figure out how to keep it from stalling when the A/C is on!!!! hahahaha

Pappy has the piston specs.
I think to do everything again it would cost around 20K-25K including a *small* amount of labor. That includes the turbo, and bottom end, and electronics, etc.
Mike Simon will build you a complete bottom and send it to you if you want, or you can send the motor to him and he can hook you up.
Contact me for more info.

Wow! That is all I can say. Lets see some time slips next time you go to the track. And when you do get this car in a big time magazine drop me a email tommyh1080@aol.com I will be sure to get a copy of whatever magazine it is!
