Im plenty handgy, but it is in a tough area, and with the door dynamatted, its really hard to see what moving part is actually broken.
Is there a way you can remove the door panel(metal, not leather) and be able to freely work on the locking mechanism?

When I had the windows rolled up I couldnt see what was actually broken. I had put the top down(therefore the windows also) just to make it easier to remove all the door panels and stuff. I stick the key in the door and turn and with the windows down I can see all the mechanism of the lock. The vertical rod that goes in the door had popped out. AFter about 10 minutes of looking real akward in my driveway(one hand in the door, one on the outside holding the key, and my teeth holding back the rubber window seal back so i could still see down in the door) I was able to pop the rod back in place. Done! Works good as new. Thanks everyone!
