Driver footwell puddle HELP!
I recently bought a 2002 S2000 and have had no problems until I came to get in it today and found a puddle in the driver footwell but only the floor is wet and not the carpet on the sides of the footwell. It was very windy and rainy last night but I was pretty surprised as I have washed it since buying it and no water came in then and also I have the hardtop on.
From searching on here it seems that AC problems can cause leaks on the passenger side and problems with the windscreen seal can cause leaks on both sides but surely the whole carpet area would be wet and not just the floor? Also there is discolouring in the bottom corners of the windscreen so could it be that the windscreen needs to be re-installed?
Any advice would be appreciated as I don't want to turn up at work with wet shoes again!

Funny, I have a 2000 s2000 and every time it rains hard, the floor on both sides are soaked. I thought it may be from flooding under the car, but it doesn't seem like that's the problem. I've read in other posts that it could be a bad windshield seal, would that leak through to the floor?
Any help is appreciated.

I suspect that you guys have rust or poor sealant coverage. Have a windshield replacement guy meet you at a body shop to replace your windshield. The body shop guy can inspect the rust to see what needs to be done. Hopefully you can catch it before major repairs are required.
But check to see if the puddle is brake fluid leaking from your clutch pedal. It may not be water. If that's the case, then you need a new clutch master cylinder.
