Default Driver side automatic window down

wanted to see if anyone else has this issue. I did find a tsb on this issue, but the dealer can't reproduce this issue to fix. The auto down "setting" on the driver window of my 2002 S2k doesn't always work. Soon after I first bought the car (I bought it new in 2002) the button wouldn't continue to bring the window down when I press the button to it's lowest setting (when it's supposed to). Neither will the window automatically go down when I put the top down. It would work after you reprogram the button, but every few days I would need to reprogram the button again. no battery change or anything that would cause the button to lose programming. dealer never got it fixed, and I was tired of bringing it in.

fast forward to now, i brought it back in, dealer lubed everything, programmed it again, and when I pick it up it didn't work. left and came back later, it would work, and was told "it works now, bring it back when it doesn't". I bring it back a few weeks later, and of course it would work at the dealership. They were willing to try to reproduce it, but since they can't they can't fix anything. As of now, it wouldn't work the first time I try in the morning, but immediately after I try again and everything seems to work. like it needed to warm up or something.

anyone else have this issue?

Thanks

Could be a poor connection at the power window control unit. If it loses power, it needs to be reprogrammed. Has the power window control unit been replaced? Might be a bad unit.

That might have been replaced early on. As of right now, it doesn't seem to be losing programming, but it takes a second try to get everything working.
