My window works in all situations and at normal speed but just rattles/vibrates horribly on the way down. anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

and it was working fine, but after replacing the front speaker (no modification to the speaker backer (? - black plastic speaker holder thing) was needed. So everything should fit right back together pretty nicely. but after putting everything back together, i have this problem. I'm thinking its just a coincidence. I just bought the car yesterday and it didn't have this problem.

PS its an '01 with 70k miles

maybe regreasing the window track...just a thought.

 

At the top of the door near the back is a plastic tab with felt on that applys some tension against the rubber seal through the glass.

It was certainly present and adjustable (1 nut) in my 2006 so it may be worth a check to see if it has come loose.
