Lately I noticed that whenever I roll down the driver's window, when it goes down I hear a clumping noise, as if something small had hit the window. I think it's some metal that the window probably hits or something when going down. Also when I roll up the window and put it down again immediately after getting that clumping sound, the sound isn't there anymore. So the sound comes back after the window has been up for a while. Anybody have any idea what this can be? Maybe a dealership visit or is it not too important at the moment?

 

there is a pressure thing that looks like a small box with felt on it that is used to pressure the window so it seals right. i could be that its not buttoned down well?

i had same problem on my 03, AP1. Went to dealer checked and they cant figure out the problem.
