e brake light?

I was recently driving in a parade ran low on gas and my ebrake light came on and the ebrake wasnt and its still on. Any ideas what it may be???

No just had the brakes bled less than 1000 miles ago:/

It likely that the float in the brake fluid reservoir is stuck to the bottom. Open it and remove the screen, poke it with a screw driver if its stuck to the bottom.
Common issue.
