I cross refereneced each pin between the Boomslang harness and the EU Manual

Found 3 extra pins (green) on the harness which according to the manual they are not used,
Found 1 missing pin (red) on the harness which according to the manual it is used.

Can anyone post the US version of these pinouts please so I can verify if there is actually a difference.

Mark, thanks for pointing it out

EDIT: I forgot another extra pin which is located on A29 on the harness

Missing a wire in the harness would be a problem. Since the ECU generate the CEL, that is why they don't have an issue with having extra wires connected. They are not conected on the inside.

Also the US pin out is posted in the diagram I posted. If it is gray, it is unused. It is it white, it is used in the US ECU. The ones you have in green are used in the US ECU, and the red on is not. Also pin 29 is used.

On Connector 32P, pin 31 is not used.

that might be my problem then.. hmmm
I would leave the "not used pins" there just in case they are being used for weight increase,

How will i get 2 pins matching my harness now..

Managed to get all the pinouts and desc of the US version, I will compile the difference and post it somewhere on this board.

I will check each one to make sure my datalogger is spliced on the correct wiring too.

So whats the second one thats wrong?

My logger is wired like:

Gray zeitronix wire = 27 on 31P
Red zeitronix wire = 1 on 25P
Black zeitronix wire = 2 on 25P
Green zeitronix wire = 19 on 32P

They are the only wires I spliced at the ECU.

I just checked all the pinouts and only Pin31 on connector A is missing for EU model's.

My Zeitronics is connected as follows

1 - Red - Switched power ignition - B1
3 - Green - RPM input - A19
7 - Black - Power ground - B2
9 - Purple - simulated narrow band - C16
10 - Grey - throttle pos sensor - C27
12 - Blue - user input 0-5V - C22/C25 (i change between these two with a dual pole switch)

Might be worth sending boomslang an email telling them about pin 31 for european harnesses.

I bet they would send you a couple of new pins and a bit of wire so you could solder it up yourself.

I tried to remove Pin A29 to swap it, but the connector + pin seems to be bullet proof. It seems like the connector is crimping all the cables together, just like RJ45 and those sort of connectors.

Best solution is to get a new A connector and "crimp" a new one.

the other end is soldered and can be easily removed.

You have to push the white lock on the connector up. This unlocks the pins so they cen be removed. Then you have to unlock the pin it self. Details on this is in the Electical Troubleshooting Helms manual. It is a PIA.
