For me its because I have a complete Mugen "Rip_Off" setup and I know I can sell it on for a good "Rip-Off" price

The AEM is a good option if you have a custom setup, but you still need time and money to get it tuned.

You are looking at 230BHP at the wheels if you are lucky!

Before you mention that the stock has 240, thats NOT at the wheels.

It is very expensive to get any reasonable boost in BHP on this car as it is so finely tuned from stock. What you can do though is increase its performance through the range making it more drivable, rather than peaking at 8500RPM. Just see how long you can drive the car for keeping it at 8500

Don't get carried away with the illusion of BHP, if you want a big boost then stick in a turbo, or get another car.

the mugen ecu works best for mid-range rpm's. And NO the setup you have wouldn't be bad for your stock ecu. it's just bolt-ons.

Depends on many safety factors whilst modifying the car. You can slap on lots of bolt on and get limited gains but with a decent ECU or better still a programmable ECU, you can safely MAP the car to give good power and remain reliable.
