I respect your decision to edit my post, but only would add that this information is so readily available, that you aren't protecting anyone. Immobilizer defeats are extremely popular in ecu swaps, and there is a way of defeating almost every type honda makes. All I'm saying is, don't think the immobilizer gives you any protection.

For the record and people using the search function...

The JDM ECU is NOT plug and play.

The JDM engine does not use a VTEC Oil Pressure sensor and maybe has other wiring differences.

This is information I have gathered but has not been proven or tested by myself

the jdm ecu isnt a straight swap and i tried doin wat you have to do with a spoon ecu by grounding the a "wire" wont say which one but i cant find a way the jdm ecu will work just to let you guys know

I've tried a J01 ecu and it won't work. I think the fuel system is wired a little different or something. It'll crank and start, but die from no fuel a second after its started.

Right now, the ecu is sitting as a brick since I haven't figured out how to use it.

The Mugen ECU will eliminate the immobilizer and is an easy swap... maybe you can find one used.
