Default Electrical Issue I think, need some help

Sometimes, when I start my car up, the engine wont start, and the only thing I do to fix it is pop the hood, just try to move the positive terminal aorund on the battery, shut the hood, and it starts up fine.
-I also noticed that most of the time when i start my car, the CD is out of the cd player and it requires me to input the code for my cd player. This acts almost as if the battery was disconnected somehow?????

Any ideas cuz this is really starting to get annoying. Thanks alot.

You should not be able to move the terminals like this. They should be firmly bolted down.

Problem is if the terminals are loose the battery is not being charged properly. But he didn't say that they where loose. I'm thinking something is loose like a plug or something cause the vibration of closing the hood affects this. Maybe corrosion on a plug or in the fuse box? du no

the battery is new, so is the plugs, however, i got the battery from advanced, and the terminals dont tighten all the way, so i took a piece of small small metal and place between one section of the terminal and plug and tightend it fine, they are tight, but this happens still

I would suggest that you have poor electrical transfer.

Take the screw out and tap the terminal down all the way with a small hammer it will tighten.

Well, its not that it isnt tightening, it is doing that, it is the battery. I bought this battery at advanced auto and I believe its the right size, just the positive and negative metal 'nubs' I guess you can say are narrow, and when I put my terminals cable on, it tightens, but is unable to get that narrow because they car only get so tight. This didnt happen when I first got this battery, it just began acting like this within the past month or so, and Ive had the battery for at least 3 or 4 months.
