I don't know about the CEL, I have a test pipe and no air pump, so the CEL stays on all the time.
No climate change, it has been close to 100 in the days and 90's here for the past 2 weeks, be glad when this changes
Didn't try to assist with throttle on startup, but i have to keep giving it throttle for it to run.

This is the biggest disadvantage to having a CEL on all the time. You will never know if something new comes along that is crippling your engine. It's time to pull the codes. It is likely that they will tell you what's going on.
