I've been having this problem for about two weeks.
Every time I start it (only happens when cold) I get this weird noise.
I took a video, quality not the best. But any suggestions about my problem? Valve adjustment?

Your vid is private Without even hearing the car I can almost guarantee it's piston slap. Happens to many F20's (assuming you have an AP1), including mine, which has been doing it for 60K miles. Don't worry about it. This car will make you over emphasize, and overly paranoid, about noises. These engines are noisy by nature.

 

Piston slap for 60k miles? That doesnt seem right to me..

 

Make the video unlisted, not private.

 

Mine engine, like a bunch of others I've heard, has been making the same noise upon cold starts for over 60k miles with no increase in pitch,frequency or duration. I've discounted it as a problem a long time ago..
