If you want to lower the engine on the subframe you need to have a way to get the car over the height of the trans/engine while still attached to the subframe. You'll also have to disconnect the lower ball joints and front swap bar brackets, and steering rack pinion coupler to remove the subframe from the car.
Just drop the subframe enough to get to the top trans bolts and use a long extention. Shouldnt take more than a couple hrs.
