i think were both on the same page where we're preying its not ecu lol

just hit 78K on the dot today.

it's an '00, but i've been PILING the miles on recently. the last 50K were probably all done in the last 2 years or so.

if you wanna PM me your #, that'd rock. i hadn't even though of egr valve.

you know, i actually have access to an ecu, free. it'd just need to be re-keyed by honda i think, but still a major hassle.

if the plugs are saying lean im saying af is good cause upstream 02 didnt throw lean code. pull the cat and take it for a ride. same problem check egr or just block off the port. that doesnt work check injectors and coil packs

Yes I did reco changing the IAC. I had the same probs you were having. Like I said mine was silver. I am muffed by your gold one. Want to trade.

injectors might be a source of you prob. I don't know. Post up if you find solue.

i wonder what an EGR valve recalculates hahaha all this time i though it recirulated and little did i know it does math! god i must be out of touch.

regarding the major bogging problem i have - how about the IAT sensor? is that something i should try replacing?

is there a history of these acting up, and if so, what would the symptoms be like? i'm guessing it should throw a CEL, but so should nearly everything else.

i believe the cts would have prescedence over the idle air temp sensor in adjusting af ratios
