Engine & Transmission Help!

Ap1 s2k
So I'm taking out my engine...I need to separate it from the trans.
Theres two top bolts I can't get to. How do I take those two bolts off?
Do I really need to lower the engine for this??

Unfortunately yes. Come at it from the bottom with a couple feet of extension and a universal joint on the socket. I used 1/2 inch drive instead of 3/8 to help reduce torsional flex.

You could just drop them both.. Then you don't really have to deal with the top two bolts in such a tedious manner.
