Default EPS Issues - Light on, no power steering

I have cleared the codes on my EPS diagnostics, replaced the EPS box (passenger side in engine bay by battery), checked all connections and still get no power steering. Welcome any thoughts you might offer.

Car has AEM ECU (which has worked perfectly with Pwr Steering for years).

Thanks,
Stanford

There are 2 plugs that can be reversed on the EPS unit, flip the connectors and re check.

Is there any problems with your speedo cluster?

I had a mate that had an issue with his speedo cluster and that affected the EPS....

check your voltage...make sure you're making the power the EPS system needs to function

should be 14v with the car running

Yes, connectors are correct and I have ~ 14 volts when the engine's running. Other ideas?

Thanks,
Stanford

I also vote that you've reversed the two EPS cables on the controller box. That or you have a loose connection elsewhere.

Just a guess, but did you reset the EPS Torque sensor neutal position sensor? That does make the steering feel really heavy. Almost like it is off.
