Default EPS light blips and radio dies. help please

hello all. just as the title states, the EPS light blips once in a while, and after my radio turns off and turns back on. i think this may be an electrical problem, but also my battery is probably the original from when the car was purchased. i have an 05, so i my best bet would probably guess that it's my battery.

but since i'm no master mechanic, i'm not too sure. does anyone have any ideas what else is going on? i've tried searching for this problem (i seracehd for "EPD Blips," "Radio on-off" and "EPS problems") but nothing came up for me. any help would be greatly appriciated.

thanks in advance

mike

You have wheels on your car or any other mods? Wash your engine bay recently?

Ive had that problem. It is a wiring problem between the alternator to the battery so check your charging system.

Mine was a loose cable coming from the alternator out and it got so bad it melted and I eventually had to replace the harness from there out. <<<this was how i noticed the problem lol

How can you have a wiring problem on a brand new Honda? Unless you took it apart already?
