EPS module testing!
So recently my power steering went out on my ap1. My buddy took his EPS module off his ap2 with swapped ap1 rack and swapped mine on his and still no power steering. I took his working one and stuck on my car and still no steering. So assuming my module bad at least.
So this is where it got weird. He stuck his good one back on his car and now he has no power steering.
Is there a way to test these modules since now he assuming his rack is fried since he tried all things to reset. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fam!

you might have a short somewhere, presumably you could put a known-good one onto your friend's car. if it works then you know your car is killing EPS modules. firstly, try to put your friend's car back together with his own components and do the reset procedure to confirm it's dead. there's also an illusive neutral steering position reset for the EPS that i don't know how to fix (it's on a todo list for me).
