Default exhaust mufflers.

So i went to the garage to remove my Cat. and customize a test pipe when i realized that there are 4 mufflers under the car when it should be 3.

the one after the Cat. is from the HKS daul exhaust, but whats the black one between the 2 mufflers? i heard resonator something like that?

-shouldnt be like the 2nd picture ?

-Should i remove it to get more flow?

it's a part of the design, don't remove it

a good resonator shouldn't give you much back pressue yet keeping the droning and raspy pitch down.

That "cigar" looking thing is actually the second resonator for the HKS exhaust.

you sure? cause when i removed my Cat. i was expecting droning and everything else noisy. but the car is so quite, only when i raise the rpm over 5 you can hear the car has mufflers something like that not even an exhaust sound.

you sure it doesnt hold alot of back pressure?

PS. my HKS is around 6 or 5 years old..so i dont know if its specified as good or bad.

It's not hurting performance at all, and that can is one of the main reasons the HKS exhaust sounds as good as it does. Leave it on there.
