Re RM Racing SS exhaust:

Before I had a better sense of what was out there, I bought an RM Racing SS exhaust system. I sure was under the impression that it weighed far less than the stock. Certainly it FELT much lighter in the two boxes that it arrived in.

Anyway, RM Racing tells me that it weighs about the same as the stock. I am very surprised, since it seems so much smaller than stock.

It is too loud for me with ragtop up, but not with hard top. If I had it to do over again, I'd get the Mugen, which is lighter and the least loud of the after-market exhausts.

I'm sure many of you have seen and heard the following. I just got it sent to me again and after listening to it, this thread immediately came to mind, especially the replies from:

"t.c." --- "I really love f1 sound !!!"

"infinitebass" --- "Screw F1!"

The following is the reason why I love the sound of my Neuspeed and DO NOT want my car sounding like a wound up sewing machine.
