Yeah, believe it or not, having a cam off by a tooth doesn't seem to hurt this motor. Valve to piston clearances are apparently quite substantial - especially if you don't go into VTEC.

yes they said all 4 cylinders have good compression.. they said it was only off by like 1 notch/tooth..
