punctuation my friend I know the dealer has to prove a modification caused damage in order to revoke warranty work under manufac warranty, but I don't know if this applies to a honda care warranty.

Hey Man I know what you're going through. Actually I'm replacing my shortblock right now. I just pulled it out completly today. I didn't seize it I spun #4 rod bearing. But I got a new shortblock from 50/50 Racing. I saw you just joined but I don't know if you know about the guy in florida that does the 2jz swaps in s2000's. Almost everyone on this bored does tho. I got my new shortblock from him and he gave me a really good deal on it and I'm saving myself a TON of money swapping the now block myself. Get a shop manuel if you don't have one. Thats what I'm usin and a couple xtra sets of hands are nice and you can't go wrong. If you want more info about where I got my motor or you want a contact # to his business pm me and I'll give it to you.

I would be curious to know the condition of the seized block and the extent of the damage. Maybe you could sleeve and stroke it (2.2L or 2.5L). I am sure the damage would have to minimal to even considder doing that. Just a thought.

Just put a 2JZ in it. My motor went out on me also. The dealership quoted me $9400 not including tax, so I decided to call Bryan up at 50/50. I just dropped my car off in Navarre, FL yesterday to get the supra swap. They are really good guys down there. Really helpful and knowledgeable. Bryan let me drive his car and let me tell you the thing is an absolute BEAST!!! 741rwhp on pump gas!! The car would step out on me going into 5th at like 130mph. I've never felt anything like it. PM me if you would like his number.
