I'm running an '05 motor on on my '02 ecu with no problems. I've kept an eye on the fuel trim settings through my OBDII scanner and everything is safely within all the normal ranges. I have not dyno tested nor am I running a VAFC or an A/F meter. I do not take it above 8500 very often, though.

I remember reading somewhere honda changed the ecu's 02-03 and those cars usually dyno 5-10 whp more than 00-01's. Now would it benefit to swap the ecu, or would it be cheaper to get tuning?

SC_Highlander, you answered my question spot on!! Did you feel a great difference? Wondering because all the past threads the IMO was shocked on how hard it pulled...

Pretty sure the answer is tuning. I'd probably gain a lot more than any factory ecu would give me anyways.
