Use Ap2 ecu in Ap1 chasis with Ap2 engine

Default Use Ap2 ecu in Ap1 chasis with Ap2 engine

hi ,

i recently swap ap2 engine F22c in my s2000 years 2001 , so i bought a used ap2 ecu and the car wont start , i heard about IMO or Key probleme related , is thats possible to run one ap2 ecu in ap1 chasis ?

PS : i run the f20x oem ecu now and car run fine but i do need to run ap2 ecu for safety issu , so please dont tell me to kee pthe ap1 ecu

If you want to use ap2 ecu, you need to get your key reprogrammed to match the ECU. Or else the immobilizer will not allow it to start. Thats why your AP1 ecu is starting the car because it is still linked to your key.

The drive by wire (2006+) engine and ecu is different so that wont work but as long as you have a 04-05 ap2 engine and ecu that should work if you reprogram the immobilizer.
