failed smog. had dead battery day before
Went to get the smog for the new car and was surprised with the printout. I left the lights on 2 days prior and caused the battery to go dead and had to give it a jump. I guess this reset the ecu at that time as well. The car is bone stock if it has anything to do with it.
The smog guy said 2 sensors have not yet been confirmed or something by the ecu and said to drive it past 1/2 tank and it should be all cleared up. Well yeh sounds good but if that isn it, it will just cost another 20 bux out the drain.
Anyone heard of this? How long do i need to drive or what do I need to do to speed the process up? Wanna get it smogged so I can register of course.
Thanks

Yeah.....not all of your readiness monitors for the OBD2 system were completed, therefor the result.
Before you get cleared on the station, the computer has to run tests on all of the emissions' systems, that's what those monitors are for.
You should be good next time you go
