Mugen made a 2.2L stroker kit also that they use on their S2200 speed car. I agree with UL on the fact that stroking does increase side-loading on the cylinder walls. It will definately cause a decrease in engine life if you maintain the 9K rev limit. It would greatly help the car's midrange which could make a real difference on the track though. Make it's powerband wider. Give up 1000 rpm's topend for a wider powerband overall. It might be worth it.

My guess is that Honda Twincam wouldnt sell a shoddy product. everythig else they sell is top-notch...

according to their new ad posted in this month's carboy, their complete engine will put out 280hp, included is a small dyno graph, but i did not buy the magazine there was not a single article on the s2000, maybe if it's in the next hyperrev i'll post it.

hmmm...SpeedCraft turbo kit, FEEL's stroker kit, custom 8.5:1 pistons, 15 psi, head work, cams, ECU....can you say "Fastest S2000 on Earth?"
Hmm, can you say Z06 WITH warranty and it would still be faster

The car that JoeD is talking about there would humble a Z06 in the worst way. I beat a Z06 with relative ease with much less. And on you wouldn't miss out on your sun rays.

I think I'll just do a search on all of UL's posts, compile them into a book and then cash in on Amazon.

So, is it 740,000 yen or 480,000 yen?

From 250ps to 280ps, and the dyno curve looks good too.
