I will just get the fluid changed so I don't have to worry about it. The dealer let a little out of the drain I believe but never topped it off. Would you guys reccommend switching to Red Line, is that something I can get at AutoZone or Napa.

I don't leave the car in gear, just put the e-brake on. The front is always higher when it happens. It seems to happen when its pretty chilly out.

I still don't understand why I can't downshift into 2nd from 3rd sometimes. Do you have to be at a certain RPM or speed to do it in??

 

Try the new Honda MTF.

Also you may find it easier to engage first or reverse the first time if you engage second gear first. Just slip the shifter into second before trying to engage first or reverse. If it is also hard to get into second, shift into third, second, (holding the clutch in the whole time of course ), and then first or reverse. I always do this, because it makes the car go into gear the first time a lot easier and it's easier on the equipment. Try it and see if it helps.

A fresh load of MTF in the box will usually help too.
