Bummer. Might not be a bad idea to start investing in some tools - most of the fluid changes don't require a huge variety and they are pretty simple to do. Jack and stands would be the major cost. Best of all though, you know who's working on your car and that the job is done right!

A general consensus (but certainly not the end-all-be-all) on good fluids to replace with:

Oil: Mobil 1, 10w-30 (don't forget a new crush washer)
Transmission Fluid: Honda MTF
Brake Fluid: Honda DOT3 Brake Fluid -or- ATE Super Blue Racing Fluid, DOT 4
Clutch Fluid: Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid
Diff. Fluid: Lubrication Engineers LE 1605, 110w (don't forget new crush washers)

Edit: Make sure you take it someplace that will use the fluids you provide and not try to pressure you into their stuff. I've found that the best people to work on these cars are are friends from the forum, they care more than anyone else will.

A lot of factors in picking an alarm system. one being were you park your car overnight. Even the basic factory alaram is a good deterent Thieves see a blinking light or if your car is bumped it will chirp they may look for an easier target. IMO that's all any alarm is. Any thing can be stolen, If you get the factory alarm make sure to get the hood sensor option, to avoid battery cabels from being cut, only doors are monitored. check here:http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-04elect.html
FYI on the seat locks

I'm sure others will chime in. Also check your oil daily & keep the level high Enjoy your car
